I just bought a new car in MA, how to transport to NH legally?

I just bought an 85 trans am in mass, near the south coast, and I live in southwest NH. NH has 20 day permits for transports like that, but mass doesn't recognize those kinds of plates, so that wouldn't work for me. How else can I transport the car home legally? I can't afford a full registration yet, and the car can't stay where it is for much longer. What can I do?

1. Get the NH 20 day permit and if you are uncomfortable driving from where it is to the state line, have it towed into NH and drive it the rest of the way.
