  1. take the Skytrain downtown. you could get off at Stadium and walk to Dunsmuir and West Georgia. i think the bus starts there. or get off at Granville station and stand on West Georgia street (north side of street). take the West Van blue bus #257 Horseshoe Bay Express i hope the schedule link works for you.
  2. Turn left as you come out of the station. Follow the path out to the corner of Main St and Terminal Ave, and take the stairs up into the Skytrain station. Take the train towards downtown, get off at Granville. Walk to Georgia St and Seymour St, and take bus route 257 to Horseshoe Bay.
  3. If you're going to Vancouver Island, another option is to take the Greyhound from the terminal to Nanaimo (Departure Bay,) or beyond. The price may seem like a lot compared to the city bus, but you must remember that your ferry fare is included in the Greyhound fare. If you're not going to Vancouver Island then you'll need to take the city bus as mentioned in the other answers here. The easiest place to get that 257 Horseshoe Bay Express is on W.Georgia St. between Granville and Seymour on the north side of the street. The skytrain taking you to that bus stop is visible and close to the bus station. It is elevated in the sky, you can't miss it out front of the bus station. Go west towards "Waterfront" and get off at Granville Station and exit to Georgia St. If you don't see that exit, exit to Granville St. and then walk away from the mountains. You'll get to Georgia. (London Drugs is right on the corner of Georgia and Granville as a landmark.)
