how do u track the location of a cell phone without installing an application on the cellphone?

( also if it could continue to track the cellphone while roaming)

2. The only way to do this is if you convince the police it's an emergency, and they ask the cell phone company for the information.
3. you can not without the help of the police or installing phone tracking programs.
4. you can ask your wireless operator to track the phone using network methods, but it better be a phone that is registered to you.
