Don't know what University/college course to take to work in Government offices?

I plan to find job placement in the government "sector". I personally don't like politics but I'd rather work in Ministry of transportation offices, Drive test centers, revenue Canada offices, etc. Problem is I don't know what specific course to take in university or college.
