Cheap Transportation from Sarasota Airport to Clearwater Beach?

I will be attending a wedding in Clearwater Beach, FL this October. In this case, airfare may be cheaper to fly into Sarasota as opposed to Tampa. Are there any cheap methods of transportation between the airport and Clearwater Beach other than by taxis or rentals? Thanks!

1. Well, first of all, flights to Tampa are usually much cheaper than to Sarasota, but anyhow, no, there's no cheap way to get from SRQ airport to Clearwater Beach, sorry. However, car rentals in Florida are never too expensive, especially in the off-season, so regardless of whether you fly into TPA or SRQ, rent a car. Maybe some other members of the wedding party could meet you in the airport and share a car rental with you? Good luck!... :-D
2. There is also a Clearwater-St. Petersburg airport that is served by Allegiant Air, Frontier and Vision Airlines. Sunwing flies to Canada from there.
