What are the benefits of always using public transport?

My friends always tease me because they usually go to places by car and when they do use public transport - its rarely. I always use public transport when I go to places, what are the benefits?

1. it helps build up immunity to sickness better so you get colds less. (you're exposed to it li'l by li'l everyday so you build up a stronger immunity.)
