How long does Amazon's FREE Super Saver Shipping take?

Im buying a scooter and scooter grips off amazon.com using their free shipping. It says 5-8 days. But Ive heard stories of them taking a month. Which I don't know to believe or not I ordered them 8/12/11. When will I get the packages? How many days will it take?

1. Normally it takes me 3-5 days. Hope it helps and keep us updated!
2. I ordered a pair of jeans with SSS and they never arrived.
3. If you ordered today, they will probably not ship your items until at least Monday, and UPS takes five business days, making next Friday the likely delivery date. Amazon will notify you when the items ship and provide you with a tracking number.
4. If the order is moving by UPS, you can track it. Get the shipping number from Amazon, then track it on the UPS website. The tracking usually includes an estimated delivery date. You can usually do this with U.S. Mail, but not always. I have never had a shipment take the whole eight days, but it has taken six days. It has a lot to do with how far it is moving. If the package is going from Omaha, Nebraska to Columbia, MO, it will get their faster than from Orlando, Florida to Gnome, Alaska.
