Is Kennedy Space Centre worth the money?
I am travelling to Orlando for the Easter holidays with my husband and two children aged 13 and 10.My husband has always wanted to visit the Space Centre. I myself have no interest.I am a bit confused as to whether we should go there for a day at a cost of approximatley 240euro for the family including transport from International Drive or whether I could maybe put this money towards park tickets for SeaWorld and Busch Gardens(which we would all probably enjoy.)Basically what I would like to know is it worth the money and also am I better off to pre-purchase the tickets before I travel or can I purchase them cheaper in Orlando(We will be needing transport to get there as we are not hiring a car)

- I very much think that the trip to Kennedy Space Center is worth the effort. It is informative, it is interesting and it will take up most of the day. Later on in the afternoon there is a seminar in one of the auditoriums where and American astronaut will give a talk. After the session you can have your picture taken with him. Kennedy Space center is one of the best kept secrets in Florida. By all means, go see it.
- You should definitely visit the Kennedy Space Center is it a very historic and informative place. It was named after one of the greatest U.S. presidents who jumpstarted the space program.
- The Kennedy Space Centre is NOT an amusement park. There are no roller coasters or other fancy rides. It is more like a visit to a university. Some children and even adults do find it quite boring. Of course it is not as polished an attraction as Disney or Universal and this disappoints some. I have known children of 13, who are totally fascinated. Other start with the, "I want to go somewhere else" immediately Yours will have to be a truly family decision.
- It's pretty cool, I've been there twice. The rockets that went to the moon are on display, lots of museum type stuff on space travel, etc. It's cool if you like that type of thing.
