Cost of living in Malaysia 2011?

Hi I am an Indian national, and I am getting a job offer in Malaysia for 9000RM per month. Do you think this is good enough ? I am married with no kids. The job location is in KL. Basically, I want to know - 1. Will I need a car ? I have read somewhere public transport is not convenient in Malysia and car is a must, so for how much will a decent 2nd hand car cost ? 2. How much will it cost for a good 3bed house in a good locality with all the basic amenities? 3. What will be the monthly household expenses on utilities and grocery supplies ? Thanks..
