I called my Fleet manager complaining over and over again about short miles, one day he got fed up and told me that they only base it on zip code to zip code...however in orientation we are not told this. I been reading that swift transportation was sued in a class action lawsuit because of this (mileage paid verses mileage driven) It was a rough lawsuit for them but perhaps it would be easier considering it was done once before because some of these companys like to bully people to get out of doing whats right...mostly because most of the drivers are not very book-smart (no insult intended guys) at first I just wanted to just quit and move on but I feel if enough of these sleazy methods start costing companys they will start thinking before they start shorting people their rightful pay..I'm naive in certain ways as you can tell...should I call the attorney who helped sue swift and talk to them.
