What is the average cost of shipping containers?

Possibly what the range of price is for building them into a shipping container home? Just for curiosities sake.

1. Why don't u call them and ask them? U will need to have a size in mind, and to where its headed. I think they go by weight and size,and where its going.

Well, it's becoming increasingly common--I first heard about it in California, and now it is being used virtually everywhere, but more so, I would guess for storage units. 3. I've seen them on eBay for around $2,200.00 for a 20' model and $2,500.00 for 40' ones. They have them in various locations around the country.
