Would it solve financial problems in the United States if Corporate America made sure we all had a job?

A job, a place to live, transportation to work and gave us an "Allowance" each week? They could pick up up with yellow buses for the ride to work. And we could all have a lunch box with pictures of Milton Friedman, Ronald Reagan, Nancy Reagan or Ayn Rand. And a yellow raincoat.
