  1. An airplane.
  2. either greyhound or the AMTRAK corridor train
  3. You can take Bart to Richmond and transfer to Amtrack. The best single resource for public transport info in the Bay Area is 511.org. They have a trip planner that can give you fare, schedules, detailed directions and time elapse. http://www.511.org
  4. It will take at least 5 hours and there is no public transport the entire trip. You have to arrive at SFO when BART is running first of all, then you take the BART train through San Francisco to the East Bay and get off at the Richmond BART station, where Amtrak train also runs. You take the Amtrak Capitol Corridor train to downtown Sacramento. You have to find another bus to the Sacramento airport. I dont know why anyone would go through this. Better to fly from SFO to Sacramento or fly into Sacramento.
  5. Airplane?? Come on now!! Amtrak is your best bet!! www.amtrack.com From SFO (airport)- There's a train around the airport that takes you to BART.. 1. Take Bart to 12th Street in Oakland it's about $4-5. 2. Get off 12th street Station (City center) .. Take a bus toward "Jack London" -- Once you get off, you want to take the bus toward the water front.. Ask the bus driver or anyone- they can easily point to the direction. It's only a few stops. Even though it's a 12 mins walk, it's better to take the bus. $2.10 -- PS. I'm not sure if there is still a free shuttle from downtown Oakland to Jack London areas.. Check : http://www.meetdowntownoak.com/shuttle.php 3. Once you hit Jack London, you should be able to locate the Amtrak station very easily. OR. you can get off at the Coliseum bart station and get on AMtrak there- but I don;t think that area is safe for new visitors..
