How can I find a reliable car transport company?

I'm getting ready to move in few weeks from Oregon to Virginia. The car will be my biggest expense since I don't have a lot of stuff, I'm trying to find a reliable car transport company, but I'm having trouble finding a good review or rating site. Most of the online reviews sound kinda phony. And the BBB site doesn't seem very accurate, a company that been active for only 6 months doesn't seem like it should get a A+ rating. I would try to drive myself but it's winter and I scared that I will be trapped somewhere I don't know. Can anyone help me out please?

1. Why not take the opinion of some of your colleagues who would have moved in/out of Oregan? Their experience will be of help. An insurance company can also help in the matter, based on its experience.
