I want to do on-location catering for the media industry. How do I start out?

I want to enter into the business of on-location catering (for television/films/sporting events/other events). What would the best place to start? Possibly catering college for a couple of years. Any advise anyone could give would be most appreciated.

1. Look up some caterers on the internet who have done so at Hollywood, NBC, CBS, football week. You don't have to go to college to be caterer. Simply sign up for night classes. Practice by self with free range eggs & plenty of spices. Then a chef will hire you to a cook at a nice restaurant and add some more skills. Also so many types of caterers. If was doing children's events may pay the same as upper scale and be easier. You have to ask someone who does this !
