How do I permanently change the location city for the weather?
When I click on "change location" it changes it to what I type in but reverts back the next time I check it.

- Ask God about that one.
- You need to delete the cookie you have for that page. Go into your Temporary Internet Files folder (can't find it? use Search), find the cookie for that particular site (it will show the web address), and delete the cookie. Another way is to delete all cookies. In Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options, and then the General tab. You'll see something that says Delete Cookies. Click it, delete your cookies, and then you start fresh.
- Honestly, this must be an ongoing problem that Yahoo is having. I hate to say that I'm glad you're having this issue, too, but it at least means it's not just me! I've alerted them and Verizon (my ISP whom Yahoo provides a special browser) about this. It drives me nuts. I have nine cities saved as places where I want to track the weather, but for some reason, after I sign out and sign back in, the weather choices default to San Francisco, Hong Kong, Honolulu, Paris and Acapulco. These are five cities I've never chosen as weather favorites. I have deleted all cookies, all temp. files, rebooted and everything and it still does this. I really hope someone at Yahoo gets to the root of this issue, and if anyone else out there has this problem, I encourage you to give your feedback to Yahoo as well. The news and sports favorites don't seem affected by this, just weather.
