How can I locate the direct opposite of my location on the globe?

Is there somewhere where I can find out the direct opposite of my location? Like if you were to stick something straight through the earth like an axis from some given point, is there somewhere where I could calculate where it would come out?

1. Easily. Determine your present latitude and longitude, from an appropriate map or a GPS receiver. Change the sign of the latitude (North to South, or the other way, as appropriate), subtract your longitude from 180 degrees, change its sign (from East to West, or the other way around), and that gives you the geographic coordinates of your opposite point -- which the odds favor being in the middle of an ocean.
