Location Transport

What is the most remote location you have ever traveled?

Is there any location you were at that made you think you were not goign to make it out alive? Would you do it again?

  1. I've been to the arctic circle - don't know about remote though, it's only up the road from where I grew up.
  2. Koh Chang in Thailand. It's a tropical island with no cars or electricity.
  3. I backpacked through India for four and a half months back in 2001. Made it from the furtherest tip south, Kanyakumari, to Dharmasala in the Himalayas. Next trip: Bhutan.
  4. When i went to Bogota , Colombia , South America , i do remember going to a location called , Yacopi , traveling by Bus from the Bogota Bus terminal. After getting off there , like on the plain top of the mountain road , i travel down in plain mountain road for about two (2) hours , till finaly i reached my destination , my Friend Davidio's Home , which is a very small compact house that have a kind of sliding roof top where the Coffee Beans seeds are placed in order to be dryed up. So i did learned how coffee is well done and taken in Large Bags to the Cafeteros Company. Thanks.
  5. None, but I wud like to visit some place like that at least once in future.
  6. iraq by far, miles and miles of just dirt hutt houses
  7. I have been to the Darien Jungle in Panama.probably one of the coolest places I have ever been and would definitely go back. Unfortunately I came back and found that I had gotten malaria while I was there...not cool but I would still go back.
