I need help finding the location of the thermostat on a 91 toyota camry?

The car is overheating, and when I start the engine and take off the radiator cap I was under the assumption that the coolant should start circulating. However it doesn't, and my car is overheating very bad. I was told to check the thermostat, but at am a loss as to its location. Please help! Thank you very much.

1. follow the top radiator hose from to the engine it will be in the housing at the end of the hose. You also need to know if the cooling fans are working.
