How do I get my dogs to stop pooping in a certain location?

Our two dogs won't stop pooping on our playscape area. The areas is covered with pea gravel. We are trying to understand if there is a product not harmful to the dogs or children that might make the dogs use a different location before we invest in adding an additional fence.

1. clean the poop up from that particular area and sprinkle with chili powder to encourage them to move to another area.
2. A common practice over here is to place a bottle or bowl of water in the area the dog is going in, dogs won't poop close to fresh water and they'll go elsewhere.
3. when they do poop in that certain area, tell them no, and correct them and take them to the correct spot. when they do go on the correct area, praise them. eventually they will learn the right area to go. good luck!
