Location Transport

How can I track the location of a cell phone if I only know the number???

  1. Ask the police!!!
  2. some new cellphones comes with a feature to reveal the location of it. but i think this is only for police and other authorized people. if you misplaced your cell at your home somewhere, then try calling your cell and find its location by hearing the ring :)
  3. call it?
  4. Call it from another phone and see if someone has it or if you happen to be in the area around where you think you lost it then try walking around calling it to find where it is. I have done it before at a hospital and found it that way. Retracing my steps. Good luck finding it. :)
  5. I don't think you can. Most cell phones have GPS systems in them (Global Positioning System), but by default most are set to only activate when a 911 call is recieved. Even if the user set "Location On", then you would need to be a registered service like Google Local or something to work, and he would have to initiate the tracking device. For example, if he sent Google SMS a message asking for directions, then they could track his location and give it to him. But they can't just track him normally...
  6. Call whoever has it and ask them where they are.
  7. Call the phone provider and pay them a a certain amount you can get any info you want on anyone
  8. well if it is not a prepaid it should be in the back of a phone book or front that should show cell phone numbers
